Calling all beginners!Join us for a cuppa, bit of cake and some knitting! Are you a total beginner or someone in need of a good knitting refresher? Join us for this in person 2-week chunky slipper knitting course tucked in a lovely wee cafe around the corner from the shop.
There is a maximum of 6 students per workshop, so grab a pal and come along if you fancy!
We will cover all the basics of knitting while working on a pair of cosy slippers to practise and develop your skill with a different focus each week. The dates are as follows:
Sunday 14 July at 3:30pm - 5:30pm: Cast on and knit to start your slippers
Sunday 21 July at 3.30pm - 5:30pm: Learn to decrease for the toe and seam to finish
Your tuition includes a cuppa and bit of cake during each class, along with a kit complete with all the materials you need to make your wonderful hand knit slippers.
Your kit includes:
100grams of chunky weight wool in a colour of your choosing
Circular needles for making the slippers (6.0mm)
Darning needle
