Learn to throw or advance your skills on a potter's wheel in our Cat Clay Studio!4-week course - Mondays - January 9 - January 30 - 10:00 am-1:00 pm Ages 10+ ($150)
This wheel throwing class is adaptable for beginning and intermediate level students. This class will teach you how to create small pots, bowls and cups using the potters wheel. Over twenty hours of guided instruction will help students throw their own pieces with growing confidence. Students will fire and keep many of their own pieces. Warning: Addictive. Intermediate students will learn new tricks and improve the quality of their wares. Professional artist and experienced educator, Casey Gurr, will be your guide.
All supplies are included. Please bring the following with you: - Apron (recommended) or clothes that can get dirty
Optional:
- Layered clothing, as the temperatures are sometimes difficult to manage in our large building
- Water/beverage with lid
