Beginner Finger Crochet at Stark Brewery: Create a Cozy Chunky Blanket

Together, we’ll work toward a small blanket approximately 2 feet by 2 feet. This project is a great introduction to finger crochet and gives you a foundation for making larger blankets at home. Choose colors that suit your space, reflect your personality, or make a thoughtful handmade gift.

Participants must bring 6 balls of their chosen chunky yarn. Yarn is not provided or included with registration.

Choosing your own yarn is part of the fun! Pick a shade you enjoy or combine coordinating colors to create a blanket that feels uniquely yours.

For a smoother crafting experience:

Dash of Creativity brings people together through welcoming, hands-on craft workshops. Based in Manchester, New Hampshire, instructor Dasha Randlett has approximately five years of experience teaching fiber arts and enjoys making creative skills approachable for beginners.

From crochet and macramé to embroidery and seasonal crafts, Dasha’s workshops offer clear instruction, encouragement, and room to make each project your own. Classes take place at community organizations, libraries, local businesses, and event venues across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine.

• Bring your yarn: Please arrive with 6 balls of your chosen chunky yarn so you’re ready to begin. Yarn is not included with registration.
• Every blanket is unique: Our target size is approximately 2 feet by 2 feet. Finished dimensions will vary with your yarn and stitch size.
• Enjoy your own pace: Completing the blanket during class is not guaranteed. You’re welcome to continue creating at home.
