About this Event

Join Spaces of Opportunity and the UArizona Cooperative Extension's Urban Agriculture Production, Small-Scale, and Beginning Farmer Program for our first workshop in the "Beginning Farmer Rancher Development Program" series - a statewide partnership to bring beginning farmer education to producers and set operations up for success!

The fifth event at Spaces of Opportunity will cover land acquistion 101 with Agriculture Resource Economists, and urban agriculture expertise.

Topics covered will include Land acquisition/lease strategies, including acquiring land from retiring farmers and USDA/FSA loan programs for beginning farmers.
