This session at Forming Art Studios is geared towards introducing adults to beginner drawing fundamentals – no previous drawing experience necessary! Led by artist Ashley Laren, students will be taught the elements of art while learning how to draw using graphite and related drawing tools. Students will be able to use the supplies provided during class time. During the course, students will use a variety of still life compositions to practice drawing techniques related to shape, line, value, perspective, color, texture, and form.Over the span of four classes, participants will have hands-on instruction and guidance, and by the end of the course, you’ll have the confidence and tools that you need to continue building on your personal drawing practice. Each session aims to be informative, interactive, and fun guiding you to unlock your creativity.
