Looking for something a bit different? Kendo is a Japanese martial art focusing on the way of the sword.
Our full course will cover fundamental techniques, such as how to hold a Shinai (bamboo sword) as well as correct footwork, posture and the targets. By the end of this course, you'll be ready to safely strike an opponent/partner.
If you'd like to continue after the free first session, the cost of the full course is £45. Everything you need to get started will be provided - including the use of a Shinai (bamboo sword) for the duration of the course. Just bring yourself and wear clothing suitable for physical activity, further joining instructions sent out a week before the first session.
