Bispeliden arranges our official autumn beginner course in Hærkamp/westernstyle fencing!
The beginner course is an intensive safety course that usually lasts 5-6 trainings or 3 weeks. During the course we focus on developing your basic skills in fencing, and un-train bad and dangerous habits, so that the attendees can safely join the main trainings with the rest of the club.
WHEN? Day-1 will be on Monday the 22nd of September, and a second Day-1 will be on Thursday the 25th of September… Double opportunity to start !! (you can also come twice!!)… The club trains every Mondays and Thursdays 19:30-21:30.
WHERE? Trondheim Spektrum hall E1.
WHAT TO BRING? Nothing but your happiness, your will to learn and your water bottle, we provide all the weapons for beginners.
WHAT TO WEAR? We usually wear Indoor training shoes and modern clothing we are comfortable moving in. So do the same… But if you have a historical outfit from VIIIe to XIIIe century and you want to wear it, no problem!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? This course is totally FREE for beginners… so come with your friends and join us!
The courses are in English (welcome foreigners!!) and the age limit is 16+ (people under 18 must show up with a parent on the first training for safety briefing)
