Join Ashley of Spring + Vine in learning entry level techniques to hand-building with clay!From Ashley: "This is a beginner level clay hand-building workshop that will focus primarily on the basics of pinching trays, dishes and functional forms. Decoration application using pigmented underglazes and simple sgraffito style engraving will also be covered. During this in-person, hands-on class, participants will learn basic techniques and introductory skills to create their own ceramic work (2-3 pieces). Everything made will be available for pick-up 2-3 weeks post workshop and participants will be contacted by Good Things after the pieces have been fired and are ready to head home
Totally no previous experience of any kind is necessary and you are welcome just as you are.
This workshop will cover the following:
- intro to handbuilding pinching techniques of pottery
- learn basic skills of sgraffito engraving and decoration application with underglazes
- make and take home your work after it's been fired (2-3 weeks post workshop)"

Maximum participants: 12
Masks must be worn in the studio at all times. 48 hour notice is required for a full refund. If the minimum participation is not reached, Good Things may cancel the workshop and provide you with a full refund.
