Vanessa (aka SugaTush) will be teaching a Beginner Burlesque class at House of Hips. In this class you will learn the foundational moves of Burlesque: “The Shimmy,” “The Bump,” and “The Grind.” You will also learn how to move with confidence while feeling sexy! Burlesque is all about body positivity and feeling empowered. Over the course of four weeks you will learn how to do glove peels and feather boa tricks. The goal by the fourth week is to teach you one whole routine incorporating all of the burlesque moves you've learned, while also helping you hone your own individual burlesque stage persona.Spaces are limited. SugaTush is a burlesque dancer/performance artist from Buffalo, New York. She is the creative director of the burlesque troupe The Glam Vamps. She produces the biweekly virtual burlesque show "Nude World Order," which airs at patreon.com/theglamvamps every other Saturday at 9pm and features a variety of performers including burlesque dancers, drag performers, musicians, hula hoopers, comedians, etc. Other burlesque troupes she has performed in as a featured artist include The Stripteasers, the Trash Can-Cans, and Femme Noire.
