Join us for a fun and beginner-friendly workshop learning the basics of the three most popular swing dances: Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Collegiate Shag! Each hour we’ll cover some of the basic moves and techniques of each style, creating a firm foundation in each dance. Dancers are free to choose different dance roles (lead/follow) in each style, or stick to one role.
**No dance experience or partner required!!
Registrants get $10 off the September-October class series! (Must sign up for fall series at the workshop to apply discount.)
Bring your friends, some comfy shoes, and get ready to dance!

Wondering what role to dance? Partner dancing has a Lead and Follow.
- The Lead/Leader is the person suggesting the moves and rhythms by initiating their follower's momentum.
- The Follow/Follower is the person who completes the moves and shapes within the rhythm suggested by the leader, often adding styling and rhythmic variations to beautify the overall movement.
