Learn the art of block printing and bring original designs and drawings to life! Guided by Ali from Clover&Fox, in this class you’ll carve your own 4x6 block and make a series of prints, all materials included! Learn step-by-step the process of block printing- from transferring your design, carving the block with professional tools, inking the design and pulling a print by hand. Immerse yourself in this tactile and hands-on medium and expand your creative expression.
All of the materials will be provided for you including:
🎨 carving tools
🎨4x6 stamp block
🎨 ink and brayers
🎨 paper
Please come prepared with an image or drawing to be ready to transfer to the block- preferably mirrored to make the transfer easy. Ideal images have bold shapes and lines for beginner prints.
