Beginner Block Printing Workshop

Our block print classes are so much fun!

We will start by showing some examples of block prints so you can get some inspiration.
Each guest will receive a 4 x 6" linoleum block. We will go over the process of sketching on tracing paper and transferring that to the block. We will demo carving techniques and show tips on how to get the desired results for your print.
After your block is carved, we will roll out in and ink up our printing plates and print on paper. If you would like to print on some other substrates, feel free to bring your own. Some examples can include T-shirts, hats, pillowcases, or tote bags.
