Tango is more than learning steps. It’s movement for the body, a challenge for the mind, incredible music, human connection — and a whole social world waiting to be discovered.
This September, join Tango en el Alma for our 8-week Beginner Argentine Tango Course in London Bridge, created for people starting completely from zero.
Over eight weeks, you’ll build strong foundations in movement, connection and musicality while discovering the history, music and culture behind authentic Argentine Tango. Our aim isn’t simply to teach you a sequence of steps — it’s to give you the confidence and understanding to begin actually dancing Tango.
And Tango doesn’t end in the classroom.
You’ll also be introduced to the milonga — the social world where Tango truly comes alive. Meet other dancers, discover the music and begin becoming part of a welcoming Tango community in London.

No partner? No experience? Perfect.
This programme is specifically designed for absolute beginners. You don’t need a dance background and you don’t need to bring a partner.
Come on your own, come with a friend or come as a couple.
Choose your Tango journey
1 class per week — £120
Choose Mondays or Wednesdays for the full 8 weeks.
Complete Beginner Programme — £180
Train twice a week on both Mondays and Wednesdays for a more immersive introduction and faster development.
