Beginner Adult Knitting Class

Our guest instructor, Abby Kelly West, is an avid fiber enthusiast with many crafting endeavors. She has been knitting for 30 years, but don't mention that to her.
This will be an adult beginner class.
You will learn basic knitting techniques including the slip knot, the knit stitch, and casting on and binding off. You will also learn how to swatch and measure stitches to calculate gauge. Participants will recieve a simple pattern to create at their own pace.
Materials provided are yarn, knitting needles, a tapestry needle and stitch markers.
