Why a group about befriending death?In our society we have a difficult time talking about death, this group is about starting the conversation. It will be a safe space to share our thoughts and feelings about death and dying. Everyone is going to experience death; we just don’t talk about it.
The group will meet on May 30, 2025 and every 4th Friday at Yoga Studio Satya 7:15 – 8:45 pm
POSSIBLE TOPICS OF DISCUSSION
· Hospice
· How to create a celebration of life
· What is an end of life doula
· What is a DNR and do I need one
· Death rituals
· Cremation v. coffin v. natural burial
· What happens to our body when we die
Kaye Anderson, End of Life Doula (in training) will guide the group.
Each class will end with a guided meditation, yoga nidra, or gentle somatic yoga practice
