Before the Sun

Before The Sun is a folk quartet from Denver, Colorado known for their original songwriting, soaring vocal harmony, thoughtful instrumental arrangements, and hilarious stage presence. The band formed in 2023 around the long time friendship of Clare Elich (banjo), Summers Baker (guitar), Grace Clark (percussion), and Joe D'Esposito (cello, fiddle). They play together with the goal of bringing audiences into the magic of acoustic music, and they seek at every turn to write and perform songs that uplift those around them.
