Before The Bloom

The year of the Fire Horse, an invitation to allow the shedding to burn and the year of being rooted into the earth and your truth.

Nothing in nature blooms all year. While January is often framed as a time to push forward and grind, the natural world is still in hibernation. Winter invites rest, reflection, and listening beneath the surface.

Join us in a 3 hour event where we slow down, sip nourishment of life into our mind, body, and spirit while honoring the season of rest, darkness, and reflection. 

Adun and Desiree come together to bring you an intention filled ceremony where we sip tea into welcoming, relax and be held for 90 minutes in restorative yoga led by Desiree, while Adun plays crystal sound bowls, rattles, and drum to embrace the sound as the helpers of releasing and attuning all while under the beautiful starry night. 

Moving inside to gather with a warm nourishing vg/gf meal while embarking on an animist lens discussion of the time of the year, followed by gentle journaling and reflection time. 

Closing the ceremony with a grounding share where we leave behind what we are no longer allowing, and walking into who we are becoming. 

All tickets are provided with a ritual good bag curated by Desiree and Adun to guide you into the Spring equinox. An invitation to invite you into deeper connection with yourself and the earth. 

We offer the experience at a tier model, to reflect financial accessibility for all to come. We are offering one scholarship to a QTBIPOC individual, with more scholarships available when higher ticket prices are purchased. If you cannot make the event, we invite you to purchase a donated ticket. Your support allows us to energetically support the movement of healing we are here to bring. 

Please wear comfortable moving clothing that is warm, a pillow/bolster, yoga mat, blankets, and cuddly items. We will be outside for the first portion of the event so please dress warm.  If you have a yoga mat to share that would be kind and appreciated. 

Join us as we honor nature’s winter rhythm, gathering to slow down, restore, and reflect on what seeds are ready to be planted before the emergence of spring.

This gathering is led by Desiree Hammond and Adun Shrecengost, both Reiki practitioners, who will guide the evening through an animist lens that honors nature, seasonal cycles, and collective care. Participants will be held in a gentle, nourishing container that centers rest, reflection, and community connection.

The evening includes: • A 90-minute restorative yoga session and guided meditation • A warm, nourishing meal • An animist talk • Journaling and shared reflection in community
