About this Event
You will be making a large 30cl candle in a glass holder using sustainable hemp waxed wicks. There will be a selection of seasonal essential oils to mix into the melted beeswax to lock in beautiful scents that will fill your home, or those you gift it to, over the festive period. You can decorate your candle using locally sourced and dried flowers, petals and stems harvested from Sefton Park over Autumn.
If you would like to bring along your own dried flowers from your garden then please do, this all helps to add to the personalised and eco-friendly nature of your Candle.
Plus, you will also hand roll your own beeswax candle as an extra candle treat to light during those dark winter days and nights. You will also get a chance to talk about how and why honeybees make beeswax and learn about what happens to bees over winter.
As you will be using hot melted beeswax, anyone under aged 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
This workshop is usually charged at £45 per person and is heavily discounted. Thanks to Liverpool BID Company for sponsoring this workshop in celebration of the festive season. Find more Christmas offers from Liverpool BID Company members here.
