Alright STOP...collaborate and listen:We CAN'T let it go 10 goddamn years without a Scando Beersbie event. Can't believe the last tour we did was in 2016, but like a popular soap opera states, "Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives."
So, mark your calendars and shine up your drinking shoes, because we're back, baby!
Here's the Skinny:
- Saturday, August 23rd at 1pm.
- 3-on-3 tournament with random teams.
- We'll have a couple of pitches set up for teams that lose out of the tournament and/or for people who saunter in late.
- We'll play at Ralis near where the trees are...where we usually play.
BEERSBIE "DO's":
- DO BYOB. All alcoholic beverages are welcome, it doesn't have to be beer. You're only allowed non-alco beer (or drinks) if you're preggo.
- DO Bring a frisbee if you have one kicking around. 175 gram official, please. We may need it, we may not.
- DO Bring an extra bag of ice. I've never heard anybody say "jeez, we have too much ice and now my beer is too cold."
- DO show up at 13:00 (1pm). We want to get the tournament underway, and we have to make teams, and move on. If you can't show up around 1pm, you're more than welcome to come and play on the fun pitches, obviously!
- DO Feel free to invite friends. More the merrier!
BEERSBIE "DON'Ts"
- DON'T bring like 4 drinks. You'll need more than that. It's better to have too much than not enough.
- DON'T litter at the park. No environmental terrorists. We'll have garbage bags set up. Keep it clean.
- DON'T drink and drive. If someone got hurt or worse because of a drinking event I planned, I won't be able to sleep at night.
- DON'T get too drunk the night before. Well, this isn't a "Don't", but more of a recommendation. Over our many Beersbie trips, we've had lots of people unable to participate due to being hungover. But, I'm not your boss, do whatever you wanna do.
