Beer & Whiskey in the Old & New Worlds!

For 2 years, Sister Cities Newport News has been working toward a formal partnership between Carrigaline, County Cork and Newport News - and, we are almost there. ​Join us as we announce the final steps in sistering with Carrigaline while we explore whiskey and beer making on-site with the experts atand Coastal Fermentory - both located in Newport News' new YARD DISTRICT.

This event starts off at Ironclad with a tour, talk and tasting. We will then walk over to Coastal for another tour and talk. The brewery taps will be open for you to purchase your favorites.

Both of these local business are located right behind Newport News City Hall and rest near the site of Maries Mount, the 1621 Irish homestead of immigrant Daniel Gookin.
