WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP SUITABLE FOR?
Suitable for everyone interested in nature, beekeeping and those who are thinking of joining the Beekeeping Course at Westbury Arts Centre in 2026.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
Westbury Bee Group will provide a fascinating insight into the life of a honey bee.
You will be provided with information about the life of a honey bee, as well as what happens within a hive and the division of labour. Learn just how important our bees are and how modern technology has played an important understanding of the roles of different bees.
If you feel inspired to take up beekeeping or sign up to the Beekeeping Course at Westbury, we'll be on hand to offer advice.
ABOUT THE TUTORS:
There have been bees at Westbury for over 20 years, and for the last few years we have been running Beekeeping Courses at Westbury Arts Centre.

These practical courses have provided an in-depth look at bees and how to keep them. Many of the students have gone on to set up their own apiaries and regularly come back to help out.

Westbury Bee Group are passionate about bees and are only too pleased to be able to pass on this knowledge to the next generation of beekeepers.
