Larry Mutti, former department chair and professor of geology at Juniata college, will put on his apiary hat to teach us about the importance of beekeeping and issues facing our bee populations. beekeepers manage bee colonies to ensure their health and well-being while benefiting from their valuable services in pollination. bees also provide us with honey, beeswax, propolis, pollen and royal jelly. Please come join us to learn what we can do to protect this vital resource.
