With dramatic images and sweeping promotional strategies, Lucius Beebe—and his life partner Charles Clegg—introduced railroad photography to wide popular audiences. Their efforts established an appreciation for rail photography, leading to its enduring appeal. Featured in the Building 1 exhibit hall, the show, with several prints never seen by the public, features 20 black-and white 21" x 25" prints and 4 interpretive panels. Beebe & Clegg: Their Enduring Photographic Legacy has been assembled by the Center for Railroad Photography and supported by a grant from the Gwinnett Creativity Fund. The exhibit is on view Thursday - Saturday 10a-5p, and Sundays 12-5p. Normal museum admission applies.
