Step into a little seasonal magic at The Hive as we craft our own Be(e)som Brooms, a whimsical twist on the traditional besom broom long associated with hearth, home, and folklore!
In this hands-on workshop, guests will create a decorative broom using natural branches, dried flowers, herbs, and charming accents inspired by autumn in the woods. Historically, besom brooms were used in many cultures as symbols of sweeping away the old and welcoming in fresh beginnings, making them a beautiful piece to hand in your home for the season.
During this workshop, you’ll create your own Be(e)som Broom, selecting from an array of dried flowers, herbs, and crystals, each chosen for their energetic properties. The process will be guided, and you’ll learn how to use each flower, herb, and crystals to create a one-of-a-kind decorative broom that blends rustic textures, dried botanicals, and a touch of “Bee-Witched” charm!
In this workshop, you will:
1. Learn about the folklore & history behind traditional besom brooms
2. Select from a beautiful variety of dried flowers, herbs, crystals, and natural accents
3. Design & decorate your own Be(e)-som Broom & Create a bee-utiful seasonal decor piece
Each participant will leave with their own Be(e)som Broom, perfect for welcoming autumn, decorating your space, or adding a little sweet magic of nature to the season!
