About this Event
Join Us for a Sweet & Healing Self-care Group! 🍯
Wellness in Action is excited to present our up-coming self-care group with a very special guest and topic. Yorlis Luna is an agroecologist and apitherapist, a person who practices apitherapy, which is the use of products from the beehive—such as honey, propolis, royal jelly, pollen, and beeswax, for therapeutic or medicinal purposes.
Discover the amazing world of bees, honey, and their natural healing powers in our interactive workshop! 🐝🌼
Whether you're curious about honey, want to learn more about the incredible role bees play in nature, or are interested in the medicinal benefits of honey and other bee products — this self-care group is for you!
Join our hands-on workshop and get ready to:
🌼 Learn how bees live and work and all the different kinds of bees.
🍯 Taste different types of honey and learn which ones are the "good" honeys
🌿 Discover the healing benefits of honey & other bee products
🪻Make your own herbal honey incense
Perfect for nature lovers, wellness seekers, and the bee-curious!
Come learn, taste, and be inspired by the magic of the hive.
About the facilitator: Yorlis has passionately dedicated her youth to study, learn and share knowledge with peasant communities, neighborhood and women's groups about natural medicine, agroecology, bees, apitherapy, meditations with pollinators and other forms of ancestral healing. She has worked with much love in her country (Nicaragua), in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, and now in the USA. Yorlis believes that the homeland is humanity and that together we can heal ourselves, connecting with each other from the heart, humility and dreams, and connecting with our ancestors and the wisdom of mother earth.
Spaces are limited, so don’t miss out! 🐝
I hope to see you there!
