Bee Friendly Family Open Day

Welcome to the Bee Friendly Family Open Day! Join us at one of our three exciting events at the Old Hale Way Allotments for a fun-filled day of learning about bees and how to create a bee-friendly environment in your own garden. You and your family will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities, such as making seed balls, creating wax works, viewing bees close up, a fun quiz about bees and more. There will also be educational talks and demonstrations on the importance of bees and how we can help protect them. Kids may also get the opportunity to try on a bee suit and take selfies with Rachel, our life size resident bumble bee.
