Certains se souviennent de Bee Dee Kay & The Roller Coaster et oui il y a un rapport. C’est bien le même Bee Dee Kay au chant, Fred au saxophone et Tam Tam Terric à la batterie mais si comme dans les Roller Coaster le saxophone est très présent, et ils auraient tort de s’en priver, Fred étant un maître au saxophone, le groupe n’a pas seulement changé de formation avec un nouveau guitariste et un nouveau contrebassiste. La musique des UFOzzz est beaucoup plus inspirée des 50’s, et notamment du rockabilly même s’ils ne s’y enferment pas et restent perméables à d’autres influences 50’s… Les extra-terrestres seraient-ils rétro ?

Our own experimental, mutant auteur synthpop artist here on Possession. Soft Riot is JJD, a Glasgow-based Canadian who has over the last number of years released six albums and has toured off to locations all over Europe and parts of North America. The latest album is No., released in August 2023. After taking a winter break after a busy 2024, it’s the first local show of the year where some new material will be played.
