Does your child love nature and all things pollinators? Come join us for a fun and educational bee camp at Stable Harvest Farm! Guided by bee expert Kristen Penhall. Kristen is the beekeeper at Stable Harvest Farm and a board member of the Native Bee Society of B.C. Kids aged 8-12 will dive into the incredible world of bees and discover why these tiny pollinators are so vital to our environment.
At Bee Camp, participants will:
• Receive the first editions of the Native Bee Activity Book produced by the Native Bee Society of B.C.! This book will include tons of activities ranging from citizen science observations to seed bomb making! There are also fun mazes, crosswords, and fun facts about the amazing bees we have right here in B.C.
• Create pollinator-themed crafts to take home
• Enjoy tasting delicious honeys
• Learn simple ways to protect bees and their habitats
This in-person event is perfect for children aged 8-12 who are passionate about pollinators, helping the planet, or learning while having fun. This camp is for you. Don’t miss this hands-on opportunity to connect with the natural world and be inspired to help save the bees!
Please ensure your child is dressed for the weather and brings lunch and water.
