📸 CALLING ALL BED-STUY LEGACY RESIDENTS 📸

I’m excited to announce my first-ever archival event presented in collaboration with GrowHouse.

Do you have old photographs, family stories, flyers, newspaper clippings, or memories that capture the spirit of Bed-Stuy through the years?

This event is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the people, places, and stories that have shaped our neighborhood across generations. I’m inviting longtime residents, legacy families, and community members to contribute materials that help tell the story of Bed-Stuy through the voices of those who have lived it.

Whether you’ve been here your whole life or your family has deep roots in the community, your history matters. Together, we can create a living archive that honors the legacy of Bed-Stuy and ensures these stories are preserved for future generations.

I’m currently seeking submissions of:

• Family photographs

• Neighborhood memories and stories

• Event flyers and programs

• Newspaper clippings

• Documents and memorabilia connected to Bed-Stuy’s history

These items will be used for my upcoming exhibition. This exhibition is more than a display; it’s a community effort to preserve our history, celebrate our resilience, and honor the generations who made Bed-Stuy what it is today.
