Join us for the January edition of Bed-Stuy’s Community Board 3 Health & Social Services Wellness Series, an evening rooted in movement, education, and community care.
Hosted at Restoration Plaza and led by in partnership with , this free community gathering is designed to support long-term health through accessible, evidence-based wellness practices.
What to Expect:
We’ll begin the evening with a gentle Pilates session led by The Fit In—focused on mobility, breath, and low-impact movement that meets you where you are. From there, we’ll transition into an educational lecture led by Esfir Health & Performance, exploring prevention and management strategies from a functional medicine perspective.
Topics include:
- Diabetes
- Insulin Resistance
- Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
- Hyperlipidemia (High Cholesterol)
The goal is to empower community members with tools, understanding, and practical strategies to support metabolic and cardiovascular health—without jargon or judgment.
