Becoming Trauma Informed & Responsive Training

The Happier Life Project is proud to present a transformative two-day training event focused on becoming Trauma Informed and Responsive, designed to enhance engagement, increase success rates, and facilitate generational healing. This training is scheduled for October 22nd and 23rd from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Participants will explore a wide array of essential topics:

• The Process and Effects of Trauma: Understanding how trauma impacts individuals and communities.
• Gender-Specific Services: Tailoring approaches to meet diverse needs.
• Understanding Triggers: Identifying and managing common triggers.
• De-escalation Techniques: Practical strategies to reduce conflict.
• Trauma and Violence: Addressing the intersection of trauma and violence.
• Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health: Integrating trauma-informed practices in substance abuse and behavioral health services.

Through education, support services, and community engagement, the project aims to empower individuals to lead healthier, happier lives.

Attendees must be present for both full days to receive a certificate of completion.
