About the lecture series
Every heritage place was once new, constructed to house families, businesses, congregations, and the countless other activities that shape community life. As time passes and histories are written, these places have become part of the cultural heritage of Aotearoa. But at what moment does this invisible transformation occur? This year’s winter lecture series will explore the identification of modern and post-modern sites as built heritage.
