The City of Beckley is bringing back the Christmas Tree Lighting event at Word Park. Join us on Tuesday, December 3, at the Word Park on Neville Street. The countdown to the tree lighting will take place around 5:30 pm. Also, enjoy caroling with the Salvation Army Kids Club and others. WVU Tech Culinary students will serve hot chocolate on their plaza across the street from the park. First Baptist Church will offer a tour of their beautifully decorated church at 6 pm. Others who wish to add activities to the celebration can contact Beckley Events at 304-256-1776.
