Bechara Maara Gaya

Bechara Mara Gaya is inspired by Accidental Death of an Anarchist by Dario Fo and reimagined in present-day India. The play is a sharp satire on the abuse of power and the systems that protect it. The story centres on the investigation into the custodial death of a man accused in a train-bombing case. As the inquiry unfolds, an unexpected outsider enters the system, unsettling the official version of events. What follows is a spiral of confusion, performance and mistaken identities that pushes those in power dangerously close to exposing their own actions.
