9 :00 am-4:00 pm Pacific Time (Box Lunch included)


This student self-advocacy workshop invites students grades 5-12, their family members and their classroom teachers and support team to think about the tools they need to access, use and enjoy their lesson materials. Students will follow the steps in the guide to build a profile of how they learn best. They will practice the steps to advocate for their needs. Bring your own fully-charged device with charging cord and learn about choices that bring your courses alive. You will leave with a greater sense of self-awareness, empowered by new knowledge and skills to become active participants in your future, because you are worth it!

(Educators and related professionals will earn 7 PD Hours)
