Originally scheduled for Spring of 2020 and delayed 3 years, Francis Wilson Playhouse is excited to finally present DISNEY'S BEAUTY & THE BEAST May 4th to 21st, 2023!During this delay we have lost some cast members due to scheduling, relocation and other life challenges.
Therefore, we will be holding AUDITIONS for Ensemble and newly available Principal Roles on Sunday February 19th and Monday February 20th at 7pm.
We are looking for enthusiastic new cast members to join our existing talented roster of performers. This classic musical is high energy and fun for all.
Auditioners will be asked to perform a 32 bar song excerpt. Accompanist is available (bring your own printed Sheet Music or sing from the Beauty & Beast Score) or have an accompaniment track ready (Bluetooth speakers will be provided). NO a capella auditions.
There will be a Movement portion to the Audition. You may be asked to read from the script.

LEFOU - Comic sidekick to Gaston - Soloist
LUMIERE - Singing dancing French Candelabra - Soloist
COGSWORTH - Fussy, by the rules Mantle Clock - Soloist
MRS. POTTS - Lyrical, lovable maternal Teapot - Soloist
SILLY GIRL(s) - Part of the musical trio of girls who swoon for Gaston. Need 2
Various ENSEMBLE MEMBERS to play Happy Townspeople, Angry Villagers, Scary Wolves, as well as Enchanted Knives, Spoons, Forks, Carpets and more.
