Beautify Brooklyn Centre is a neighborhood initiative to get residents out and about in the community by showcasing their artistic talent through visual arts. The visual arts may include painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, media and digital design, dance, music, and performance art.On Saturday, August 20, artists will be showcased in the community gardens of Brooklyn Centre. The confirmed participating gardens are Shalom and Tranquility Garden, The Butterfly Garden and The One Where We Remember Garden.
The day will also allow for residents to express their creativity through a variety of art mediums at the gardens.
We are looking for local artistic residents that would like to show off their work in the gardens. The art can be any of the mediums listed above. Artists can be as diverse as the art itself. There are not any age restrictions nor are there any restrictions on skill level. There is not a piece of art too small for this exhibition!
Artist applications can be submitted until August 8, 2022.
