Beautiful Rind's Intro To Cheese Class: Donate What You Can

For our 5th anniversary, Beautiful Rind is celebrating by giving back to a few of our staff & customers favorite causes. Want to eat cheese, learn about it, and feel great doing so? Join us as we host a marathon series of our most popular class... Intro to Cheese. To do so, we just ask that you donate what you can to support some great organizations. We will be donating 100% of the ticket sales to Impact Culinary Training, Midwest Access Coalition, and Wild Hearts. The class is usually $40 and for this special event, we just ask that you give what you can to one (or all three) of these organizations via your ticket.

Your ticket will include a tasting of five cheeses and live instruction from our beloved and awarded cheesemongers. While you taste cheese, you'll learn how it's made, its history, how to care for it, and so much more. Over our five years, thousands of people have attended this and other classes. To celebrate this occasion, we wanted to give back in appreciation of all the great support we've received.

Who are we giving back to:

• Impact Culinary Training hosts free 8-week intensive culinary training programs for young adults in Chicago's West Side before placing them in paid internships at some of Chicagoland's top restaurants to start them on a path to better-paying, professional careers.
• Midwest Access Coalition envisions a world in which all people have access to safe, free, legal abortions wherever they live. It helps people traveling to, from, and within the Midwest access a safe abortion by assisting with travel coordination and costs, lodging, food, medicine, and childcare.
• Wild Hearts supports animal welfare by providing support for pet parents to address mobility and quality of life for their mobility-impaired animal companions. They collaborate with local veterans to supply support to needy pets and their parents.

We will also have wine, beer, and non-alcoholic pairings available for purchase. Please just arrive 15 minutes prior to ensure you have time to order. You must be 21+ to purchase alcohol.

*If you prefer your donation to go entirely to one cause, please just let us know via email or at the class. Those who don't select a specific organization will have their donation split between the three organizations.
