Each year, in November; a fresh batch of Beaujolais Nouveau wine is released in France, shipped throughout the world and enjoyed by thousands! This special tradition is celebrated each year in partnership with the French-American Chamber of Commerce at the Embassy of France and is a must for party-goers who appreciate French "savoir-vivre." What better way to celebrate the end of the 2024 wine harvest in style than at the Embassy of France at DC’s only official celebration.
Enjoy Beaujolais Nouveau wine all night long, sample food from some of Washington’s best French restaurants, and dance the night away at The Wine Event Of The Year!

The Beaujolais Nouveau celebration is a French cultural "Fete" that will take place in accordance with popular French annual tradition and custom for uncorking the Beaujolais Nouveau wine. We will serve light fare from leading DC restaurants, accompanied by French breads, cheeses, pâtés and pastries. Guests will be treated to free-flowing Beaujolais Nouveau wine. Don’t miss this fun-filled and free-flowing annual tradition at the Embassy of France! We encourage you to purchase tickets soon, as this event sells out quickly every year.
The event is organized as a festival of wine. As such there are many facets to the evening and the evening is planned so that you can mingle and walk inside the embassy to discover and celebrate French culture and cuisine. Kindly note that the event is not organized as a seated function or dinner event but rather as a cocktail reception with light fare.
Due to security considerations at the embassy, we are unable to accept walk-ins. You must reserve a ticket in advance to attend this event. Absolutely no door sales. All guests must be strictly 21 and over.
You must provide us with the full names of each of your guests for admission to the embassy. All guests must attend with photo ID. Please make a note of the time of arrival for the type of ticket you purchase. No large bags are allowed inside the French Embassy.

5 Types of Tickets:
Premier Cru: Enter at 8pm, then enjoy wine, food, music and entertainment. Very limited seating.
Grand Cru Premium Entry : Enter at 7pm and enjoy delicious hors-d'oeuvres and special wines in an open bar setting and live piano music for the first hour. Of course, you then stay for the rest of the night. Very limited seating.
Chateau Table Service for VIP Singles: You will seat at a reserved table in a roped-off prime area but with up to 3 other guests, with unlimited Champagne, wine and personal service all night. Very limited number of tables so reserve early. An opportunity to make new friends!
Château Table Service for VIP Couples (table for 2): You will seat at a reserved table for just you two, in a roped-off prime area, with unlimited Champagne, wine and personal service all night. Very limited number of tables so reserve early.
Chateau Table Service for VIP up to 4: You will seat at a reserved table with up to 3 of your friends, in a roped-off prime area with unlimited Champagne, wine and personal service all night. Very limited number of tables so reserve early.
Please note that the total number of tickets is limited. They will go fast so register early. We were sold out last year.

For security reasons, all persons attending the event must be registered via this site. No multiple registrations under a single name. ID will be required to enter the Embassy grounds.
For security reasons, there will be no parking inside the Embassy. Public parking is available on Reservoir Rd and across the street at Georgetown University Hospital's parking garage. Please check cost and availability at time pf parking.
This is an adult-only event. No one under 21 allowed.
Dress Code: Cocktail attire. French accents welcome.
