P.O. BOXX, led by Samoan singer-songwriter Po Leapai, blends soulful vocals with island rhythms to create a unique “island-soul” sound rooted in R&B, reggae, funk, and jazz. Born in Compton and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Po has been a fixture in Seattle’s music scene since the early 2000s, releasing multiple singles, LPs, and collaborations —including the hit “Skankin” with Island Trybe, which gained popularity in Guam.
