Beats for Change: Fundraiser for Haiti & Ethiopia

A special international fundraising event called "Beats for Change" will unite all communities for a memorable evening of live music at 7 pm Friday, May 10 at Sacred Heart Music Center in Duluth.

Northland musicians Sara Thomsen, Charlie Parr, Shane Nelson, Mary Bue, Ian Alexy and students in the Marshall School Choir are all scheduled to perform.

All proceeds will go to support Red Cross efforts in Haiti and Ethiopia.

Marshall School seniors and event organizers Francesca Berg and Pearl Swanson said the concert aims to raise money and awareness for various humanitarian issues.
