Cherokee is an Australian DJ from Melbourne based in Gent. With over two decades behind the decks, she has built a reputation for delivering authentic house music with soul, esteemed for her style of deep rhythms and positive vibrations! Influenced by Chicago and New York house music, her sets provide a seamless education of pure underground pulses, combining disco with soulful influences, rich deep chords, jazz-funk rhythms and joyous vocals that bring a vibrant energy to the dance floor.
Cherokee is YALO Hotel’s OG DJ lady resident, she’s played local venues Charlatan, Bar Jos and regularly performing in Antwerp and Brussels. Cherokee’s house music style comes through from her passionate musical roots of jazz, soul, funk and disco music. Her sound will immediately mesmerize you, offering a rhythmic cure for your mind, body and soul, delivering nothing but good vibes!
MINNAER
Minnaer is a house DJ with over two decades behind the decks, known for warm grooves, seamless blends, and an unmistakable feel for the dance floor. Rooted in underground house, his sound effortlessly weaves together creating sets that are both soulful and high in energy.
Inspired by Funk, Soul, Disco, Hip-Hop, and electronic music in all its forms, Minnaer’s selections are fresh, eclectic, and always driven by groove. Known for delivering authentic house music with depth, he has played at Chinastraat, Charlatan, Cafe Damberd and as well as numerous other venues and events across Ghent.
