Beats and Brass in the Gardens

Come for an early evening treat of music and dancing in Goodlands Gardens. There will be vibrant live music from the fifteen piece Sound of the Streets band and summer beats full of brass from DJ Badger. The Shed will be open for cool drinks and snacks. The evening is part of The Sound of the Streets celebratory weekend.
Bringing musical joy to the streets and spaces of Somerset, the Sound of the Streets band is packed with reeds, brass, drums and percussion. The band plays street music from around the world, especially New Orleans, carnival music. Folk, funk , ska, and soul and Somerset Songs. DJ Badger spins global grooves and beats at Oxfords Bossaphonic Nights, at festivals around the country and in woodland glades and dells.
With funding and thanks to Taunton Town Council.
They will be providing live sounds for the Independent Market on Sunday too.
