Hosted in Mimm Studios, with special guest Headliner Megs, this event will showcase the work of a range of Beatknots Academies from the past 3 Years

Finishing off the Beatknots Music Academy Festival, we are showcasing all the talent developed across the past 3 years of the program. With live band performances, DJ sets and solo acts we will be providing a stage for all students of the project to showcase their work. We are also delighted to have Phlexx x Mimm Collective Alumni Megs headlining the event.

Megs is a 24-year-old British-Ghanaian singer-songwriter whose dreamy, soulful vocals and introspective lyricism shape a floaty yet grounded R&B sound. Based between Nottingham and Bristol, her mellow tone and honest storytelling have been gaining quiet momentum across the UK, with support from BBC Introducing, Rinse FM, BBC 1Xtra and more.

This event is part of the Nottingham C.A.N - Beaknots Music Academy Festival (funded by Youth Music!

Held at Mimm Studios, Nottingham and focusing on showcasing a wide breadth of local career pathway from within the Music Industry and also celebrating the talents of the young creatives from the Beatknots Music Academy. We have curated a vibrant 3-week schedule, featuring a range of Talks, Masterclasses, Performances and Workshops.
