BEATFREAQ: March Edition

BEATFreaq is a monthly, producer-forward community gathering designed to spotlight creatives at every stage of their journey. Taking place Saturday, March 7 from 3:00 to 6:30 PM at Starlight on 22nd, this free event creates space for producers, rappers, comedians, and collaborators to share their work, their stories, and their energy with a supportive audience.

This edition of BeatFreaq features performances by DJ Ray, CJ Chat, Poe Mack, Railz the Principle, Julian Cross (comedy), and Bars NC, with sound provided by DJ Wizdom. Sets are intentionally flexible, allowing artists to experiment, collaborate, bring guests, or present their work however they choose.

After each performance, artists will take part in a short on-stage mini-interview, giving the audience a chance to connect beyond the music. The questions aren’t always conventional, but they’re always fun—and yes, you may be asked about your favorite sandwich.

BeatFreaq welcomes everyone, from first-time performers to seasoned artists, and encourages community-building through shared experiences. Merch, swag, and giveaways are welcome. Admission is free, and the vibe is rooted in creativity, respect, and mutual support.
