Beat the Heat: DIY Window Unit Insulation Workshop

Join us for a hands-on community workshop where we'll demonstrate simple, affordable ways to insulate your window air conditioning unit and improve energy efficiency during Louisiana's hottest months.

Participants will learn practical DIY techniques to help keep cool air inside, reduce energy waste, and potentially lower utility costs. This workshop is designed for renters, homeowners, and anyone looking to make their space more comfortable during the summer.

The first 10 people who register will receive free insulation supplies to use during the demonstration and take home. Additional attendees are welcome to join, observe, and learn the process.

Nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.
