Beat the Gong - English Standup Comedy - Survival of the Funniest

Survival of the Funniest. Performers compete for the audience. If the audience doesn't like the performer, they can vote them off!
About this Event

Welcome to Beat the Gong, the comedy show where the audience decide the winner!

• The Rules: Performers have 5 minutes to make you laugh.
• The Risk: If the crowd lose patience or don't like them, the Gong ends the set instantly.
• The Reward: They get to the final round. The audience votes for the best act of the night, they win a prize, and more importantly, the audience love them!

It’s fast, it’s brutal, and it's f***ing funny

Gong-style comedy is the ultimate high-stakes format for stand-up. The premise is simple: comedians try to perform a 5 minutes set, but if the audience or judges aren't laughing, they get "gonged" off the stage before their time is up.
