Bea's Band Scramble #1

The band scramble at the last Laveen Folk Festival was canceled due to rain, so I'm going to run a series of scrambles this summer to make up for it.
The band scramble format is like a weighted draw - you enter by yourself, and I will form bands based on instruments and levels of players, with the goal to form bands with 4-5 people who play different instruments at different levels. You may or may not know the people you get placed in a band with. Your new band will have 45 minutes to work up 3 songs, then all the bands will perform with judges scoring them. The best band will be awarded a small prize.
For this first one, I can take the first 20 people who click "Going" and leave a comment with the instrument they play, what level they play (beginner, intermediate, pro), and whether they sing as well.
I'll also send this out in an email, so I'll take the first 20 based on email date/time and date/time stamp here.
I'm asking $5 per person to enter - this will go towards defraying the cost of the port-a-potties at the 2026 Laveen Folk Festival. We are still working out the details of the festival for this year so I haven't posted the call for musicians yet, stay tuned on that.
If this one is a success, I'll setup some others.
