Come enjoy a summer evening at the Alaska Zoo for a Bear Paint Night on Thursday, August 1st, 2024 from 6-8:30pm. Learn to paint bears with guided instruction by Palette while you enjoy food and drink from Northern Wings Cafe. After the painting is complete and the works of art are drying, you will be treated to visits with zoo black and brown bears with staff. This paint night on the zoo lawn is a perfect night out with friends, or a date night with your special someone. And while the alpacas near the lawn may be watching you, they never judge you on artistic talent. Only 30 tickets are available, advance ticket purchase required. Ages 18 and older only please! The $80/person ticket includes zoo entry, painting, food, drinks and bear visits.Event details: Paint night on the zoo lawn (under tents) plus BEAR VISITS with black and brown bears. 5:30pm - Guests arrive and walk to the lawn. 6-8pm - Painting on the lawn including charcuterie boxes and Lotus slushies. 8-8:30pm - Bear visits! 8:30pm - The event concludes and guests are escorted to the entrance.
