Beam Camp Try it Day!

Join us for a day at Beam Camp right here in Brooklyn! Each month, Beam Camp offers an opportunity to learn about camp and participate in domain workshops led by campers and staff. This month, campers who are part of our Beam Mates Fellowship Program for campers age 15 and older, will be leading the workshops they have been developing since November. In January, we will be making Bug Bots to race with Eli, and Cardboard Armor with Julius. All materials are provided by Beam Center and participants are welcome to take their creations home!

These workshops bring us back to summer days, and include camp traditions like name games, reflections, and s’mores! Parents are encouraged to participate as well, and everybody is invited to take their creations home.

Try it Day is open to the public, and you are encouraged to bring friends! If you are interested in hosting a private Beam Camp event, email [email protected] with inquiries!

Info: Campers and families are encouraged to arrive on time for a group warm-up prior to diving into our workshops.

Info: Workshops are generally drop-in based, so everybody is welcome to explore wherever their heart desires! Campers can spend the whole time doing one thing, or they can do a little of everything.
